Opportunity | Business Development Executive | FinTech | Start-up | London (hybrid)

Athlete Origin are delighted to be working with a global FinTech company who are seeking to hire an Business Development Executive (BDE) from an elite sporting background, to accelerate the growth of their sales organisation.

Our partners are a FinTech company specialising in providing fast, flexible, and fair financing to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Through their platform they offer credit lines and loans up to £1 million, with terms ranging from one day to two years. This approach enables quick lending decisions, often within 24 hours, without the complex paperwork associated with traditional bank loans. After seeing success in hiring athletes into this role previously, they are looking for a BDE with an elite sporting background to come and join the rapidly growing team.

What you’ll do:

• Market strategy, outreach, and revenue forecasting.
• Consistently achieve revenue targets.
• Prospect new customers via phone, email, and social media.
• Convert inbound marketing leads into opportunities.
• Manage sales pipeline including phone, video, and in person interactions.

What you’ll need:

• Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to network with peers, prospects and customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade in a business environment.
• A professional attitude, conduct and appearance.
• Previous exposure to sales would be a benefit. However, they do provide full training and give you all the tools to be successful.
• High performance sporting background.
• Right to work in the UK.
