Athlete Origin are delighted to be working on behalf of a Health Tech start-up who are seeking to hire a FOUNDING SDR from an elite sporting background to join their growing team in the US.
Our client is an early-stage, Series A–backed AI company building autonomous agents for the healthcare industry. Their technology supports critical clinical workflows and patient engagement - from pre-visit intake and triage to care navigation and ongoing adherence - with a strong emphasis on safety, outcomes, and real-world impact. This role will engage senior retail and ecommerce leaders, book strategic meetings, and play a key role in fueling growth for a fast-scaling sales organization.
What you’ll do:
- Market strategy, outreach, and revenue forecasting.
- Consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Prospect new customers via phone, email, and social media.
- Convert inbound marketing leads into opportunities.
- Manage sales pipeline including phone, video, and in person interactions.
What you’ll need:
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to network with peers, prospects and customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade in a business environment.
- A professional attitude, conduct and appearance.
- Previous exposure to sales.
- High performance sporting background.
- Right to work in the US.
